Bringing Breastfeeding Help To Your Nest

The moment the Boob Nurse was born: I was nine years old and locked eyes with my miracle baby cousin. I knew in my heart I was meant to work with moms and babies. Fast forward 40 years, through many leaps of faith, here I am, ready to serve you, with just as much heart. I could tell you all about my schooling and career but that doesn't convey my humor, my passion nor my desire to help you become a bad ass breast feeder! I could also tell you all about my skillset and why you absolutely should work with me but that doesn't convey what you really need: To one day walk away from your breastfeeding journey and not hate your boobs, your baby, your partner or your entire postpartum era. I'm here to tell you, breastfeeding doesn't have to suck! Sure, I can teach you all things breastfeeding but the biggest thing I can do for you is hold you hand while this process stirs up soul shattering questions: Can I do this? Am I enough? Am I alone? Mama, I see you - and what I see is this: In this era of hyper-independence and DIYing most of our life from online content, moms are left more confused, anxious and overwhelmed than ever. What class do you take? What books do you read? Who do you follow on social media? What kind of bottles, formula, pumps do you get? There is so much noise and very little one-on-one guidance. Many moms get to the hospital knowing they "should" breastfeed but having very little idea of how. And somewhere amongst all of the influencer style nurseries and pumping hacks - what you most need to do to prepare for breastfeeding has gotten lost. Hospitals don't help much either - they push you out in 24 hours and you go home with a partner who is clueless how to help you, a grandmother who keeps telling you to give your baby formula and an annoying sister who pretends breastfeeding was soooo easy. But, there is hope. My patients at the hospital tell me all of the time: "Why didn't I meet you sooner? The five minutes you spent with us taught us more than any class we took!" So here I am - putting myself out into the world and offering you a chance to work one-on one with me before baby arrives and after baby is home. Imagine having your very own Boob Nurse!
